Our client came across a photo of soybeans we had created with balloons at the @iowastatefair and asked what other crops were possible. ANY! All of them! Seriously, send us your challenging projects.

For this installation, we got to revisit corn and soybeans, create a custom color balloon to make wine grapes, and gave cotton and wheat a spin for the first time. We love how this turned out! 🍇🌽🌾💨🌱

A love letter from Up, Up & Away to the “old” KC airport: Thank you. Thank you for sending us off on adventures and welcoming us back home. You sent us off to Belgium to help build the world’s largest balloon sculpture. You welcomed us back from Honduras where we met kiddos who had never had their own balloon. Many times your doors have slid open when we’ve arrived with suitcases heavy with balloons. When our work was done, your artful floors welcomed us back home.

And then there were the times when we weren’t traveling…. The unveiling of @southwestair’s Missouri One, celebrating the children of fallen military heroes as they left on @americanair’s Snowball Express flights, the World Series fanfare with @delta, the adorable puffins @icelandair had for their inaugural flight, @jetblue’s Big Apple soirée, a fun kickoff for @alaskaair… We have had amazing celebrations within your curved walls. Thank you for the memories that have shaped not just our business but our lives. Grateful. ❤️
