Balloon Studio Assistant
We are seeking a Balloon Studio Assistant to join our team. The ideal fun-seeker will assist in the daily operations of our studio, providing support to both staff and customers. This job is up to 25 hours per week and requires some evening and weekend work. This is a Flex Pool position with hours posted one week or more in advance.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff with balloon inflation and production tasks, creating balloon arches, columns, sculptures and more.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the balloon studio space
- Manage inventory and restock products as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing staff and customer needs promptly and professionally
- Support staff with various tasks as required
This position might be for you if:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to frequently lift 25 pounds

Balloon Event Takedown Specialist, PERFECT FOR NIGHT OWLS!
We are seeking a Balloon Event Takedown Specialist to join our team. The ideal fun-seeker will assist in taking down balloons and related equipment when the party is over!
Responsibilities
- Takedown balloon decor and related equipment at event sites throughout the KC metropolitan area
- Return supplies and equipment to the Balloon Studio immediately following events
- Drive to event sites on your own, either in your vehicle or in a Balloonmobile
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing staff and customer needs promptly and professionally.
This position might be for you if:
- Tidying Up is your superpower!
- Ability to frequently lift 25 pounds, occasionally more; climb on a 6′ ladder, work indoors and outdoors year round
- Enjoy a job that is different each day, fast paced, commitment to very specific timing
- Care deeply about customers and doing your best work every time
- Have a clean driving record and are comfortable driving a full size van
- Excel at finding your way around town with clear instructions
- Are a night owl! This job has late night and weekend hours. It’s the coolest side hustle for someone who has a day job and wants to pick up a bit of extra $ taking down events!
This job starts at $18 per hour and has an hourly bonus for work later than 9pm and on weekends. This job is on an as-needed basis. It is up to 15 hours per week with open shifts posted a week prior. The hours you work are up to you, you choose from the posted options.

Balloon Event Setup Crew
We are seeking Balloon Event Setup Crew to join our team. This position is a super important one, bringing the party to life! The ideal fun-seeker will assist in the loading and unloading of balloon artistry and the installation of balloons on-site at celebrations throughout the city.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff with balloon inflation and production tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the balloon studio space as well as on site at events
- Assist in loading and unloading balloon vans and box trucks both at the balloon studio and at event sites
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing staff and customer needs promptly and professionally
- Support staff with various tasks as required
This position might be for you if:
- Ability to frequently lift 25 pounds, climb on a 6′ ladder, work indoors and outdoors year round
- Enjoy a job that is different each day, fast paced, requires commitment to tight deadlines
- Care deeply about customers and doing your best work every time
- Work well on a team, which includes always being early or on time so the entire team can start together
- Like to learn and quickly adapt to new tasks
This job starts at $16.50 per hour and features a weekend hourly bonus for Saturday and Sunday work. This is an as-needed position with available shifts posted a week prior. Most of our Balloon Event Setup Crew work 20 hours or less per week, occasionally working as much as 40 hours during peak season. The hours you work are up to you, you choose from the posted options.

Balloon Studio Inventory Assistant (all positions filled)
We are seeking Balloon Studio Inventory Assistant to join our team. The ideal fun-seeker will assist in returning inventory after events and pulling inventory for upcoming events
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the balloon studio space
- Work quickly and efficiently to put away inventory in designated areas and pull inventory from a provided list
- Address staff needs promptly and professionally
- Support staff with various additional tasks as required
This position might be for you if:
- Ability to frequently lift 25 pounds, move boxes up to 30″ tall and wide
- Enjoy organizing and tidying, have great attention to detail
- Care deeply about doing your best work every time
- Work well independently
- Like to learn and quickly adapt to new tasks
This job starts at $17 per hour and can be done at hours that work for you, from early morning to late evening, seven days a week. The hours you work are up to you, with a number of needed hours posted each week.
