Unpacking all of the hidden gems in our Practical Magic 2 inspired balloon installation at the Liberty @bbtheatres…
•Salt, Rosemary, Lavender, Love, as shared in the first movie. No spoilers here, but what did you think of the new addition? We had this backdrop custom made just for this installation!
•The apothecary bottles. Custom labels designed in the balloon studio. Belladonna because Gillian always has it in her bag, Midnight Margaritas because we all need a kitchen dance party. Love Potion No. 9? Well, that one is just a cheeky nod to Sandra Bullock.
•The date on the Owens Botanical Supply Sign, it’s the year the Salem witch trials ended.
•The climbing red roses, growing out of the ground where Jimmy Angelov was buried. Did you catch them in the second movie, too?
•The crescent moon, watch for it in PM2. We wanted to capture the moonlight illuminating the greenhouse as the Owens’ gathered around the table. Such a beautiful scene in PM2.

For our fellow balloon artists who have read this far, the apothecary bottles were created with Q jewels. Nothing velvetizes quite like them which is perfect for a dusty apothecary bottle look. There are also several custom double stuffed colors using the very last of our Q stock in the organic flows around the installation. Jewel burgundy and fuchsia with black in the rose garden; sapphire, quartz and teal with black throughout. This felt like the perfect installation to say goodbye to old balloon favorites.

Last day of pool season? We reject that premise. 🌊

Especially when the parties look like this. A fabulous 50th with a 1976 Las Vegas theme, served up with red velvet, chrome, cocktails and absolutely no interest in subtlety.

Because milestone birthdays should be a little outrageous. Actually, maybe a LOT outrageous.

Sit. Stay. FETCH. 🐕💕

When @dvm360 brings FETCH to Kansas City, we bring the big dogs. The 9+ foot balloon kind.

Giant balloon dogs greeted guests at the conference, while our handmade-right-here-in-KC illuminated FETCH @lectroletters + custom-color balloon surround became the memory-making spot of the event.

Would we do it again? 10/10. Would Fetch.

KC friends, we need your help! 🐾🦖

When our friends at @bbtheatres asked us to create a balloon sculpture photo spot for the new PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, we knew we had to go BIG: not one, but TWO balloon dinosaurs, favorite characters, an erupting volcano and oodles of jungle greenery!

But the most important thing we included was space for YOU—because you’re the real stars of this scene! We created plenty of perfectly sized spots where little moviegoers can pop in and look like they’ve stepped right into the movie.

We completed the installation early in the morning, before any moviegoers had arrived—so now we need your help bringing our vision to life! If you visit, please snap a photo, tag us and @bbtheatres, or send it our way. We would absolutely love to see you in the scene!

Pomodoro, pasta & balloons! 🍅🍝🎈

For this fantastically themed celebration, we went all in with a balloon entrance featuring handmade farfalle, plump pomodoro tomatoes, and even their little green stems and vines, made with balloons!

And the chef’s kiss? Our balloon creations coordinated perfectly with the gorgeous florals from @custominteriorsbyfrancesca, artfully arranged in classic Italian tomato cans, complete with real pasta and tomatoes tucked in.

A little whimsy. A lot Italian. And molto fun. 🇮🇹
